Kibale National park has an area size of 795km and is one of Uganda’s most gorgeous tropical forests that are a habitat to many primates like chimpanzees and birds.
Kibale national park stands about 1590m above sea level and the northern part is the wettest area receiving annual rainfall of 1700mm with the rainy months being March to May with a brief dry spell in between then September-November and the park has temperatures ranging from 14-27 degrees celicus on highs and lows .
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda is one of the best travel destinations in Uganda famous for being home for the mountain Gorillas trekking. The park is rich in fauna and flora with countless species of butterfly species, Primates, birds and other wildlife unique only to only this impenetrable forest.
Mt Elgon was once Africa’s highest mountain, far exceeding Kilimanjaro’s current 5,895m. Millennia of erosion have reduced its height to 4,321m, relegating it to the 4th highest peak in East Africa and 8thon the continent.
